June 25th (rain date June 26th)
Another new fundraiser for this year, I am excited to be able to participate with my own motorcycle and Ride 4 Autism! Anyone can participate if you have a motorcycle/trike that is licensed for the road as we will be travelling from Perth-Andover to Woodstock on the river scenic road. You can call to register your ride $20/entry with all donations going to help us support individuals and families with autism between the areas of Grand Falls-Woodstock/Nackawic, NB
We will be accepting your refinished chairs/stools or items until the end of March so we can
be all set up for our online auction in April. I can’t wait to see what AU-mazing items that you will have to bid on next month. Thank you for your support!
Autism Connections Fredericton is offering some exciting Adult Services. Listed and detailed below are 3 virtual programs being offered to support and coach adults into obtaining independence in their search for employment while connecting them with a job bank of inclusive employers. In addition, they are offering an Employment Support Group with a first-voice facilitator. This group is exciting because it lends an opportunity for autistics to connect, mentor, and support one another in navigating the world of work as an autistic person. Group members can be gainfully employed, currently looking for work, or just preparing to dip their toes in for the first time, which we all know can be intimidating and comes with many questions.

Thank you to United Way of Central NB for the funding so UVARC has been able to offer our Youth Mentoring Projects the past few months. It’s been an amazing experience for our youth with ASD and the individuals that have been mentoring the youth.
